AAA Builders

James Abshire

James is a Beaumont native, graduated from Lamar University in 1989 with a bachelors degree in Marketing. James has owned and managed many businesses over the years. He has been involved in the building business for more than 20 years. He is a member of the Home Builders Association and avidly pursues his love for home building and development.
The fact that James loves the hands-on portion of home building is portrayed in his interest in the development of River Birch Place. On any given day you can find James performing tasks from drawing home plans and meeting with clients to planning and building the community. He always finds the time to visit with new and existing clients and works diligently to make their dreams come true.
James loves music, is a member of his local church and community orchestra, having played trumpet for over 25 years, along with being an avid skier and movie buff. James is married, he and his wife Kerri have 5 children.

Beard Homes

Mickey Beard

Mickey is a long time resident of the Beaumont-Lumberton area, and is one of the three builders in River Birch Place. Mickey graduated from Westbrook High School, and attended the University of Texas, majoring in Accounting. He became interested in the building process while assisting his parents in constructing apartment complexes.
Using the apartment building experience as a springboard, Mickey began to involve himself in numerous projects and activities to further his knowledge in the building business. Beard Homes was established in 1993, although Mickey has been involved in this line of work since the late 70s. After building town homes and apartments, he has begun subdivision developments and has gained knowledge in the area of road construction for new developing subdivisions. Mickey also hones his leadership skills as a board member of the Home Builders Association.
Mickey builds homes primarily in River Birch Place, Barrington Heights, and Fairfield subdivision, but is also specialized in custom home construction.
Mickey has 2 children & 3 grandchildren who he loves spending time with.

Lone Star Homes

Adam Beard

Adam Beard grew up in Lumberton, TX and graduated from Lumberton High School. Adam began working with Beard Homes at the age of 18 and has 11 years experience. He has built homes in Beaumont, Lumberton, Orange, Livingston, & Wildwood. He established Lone Star Homes in 2006.
Adam's hobbies include golf, baseball & weight training, but his family is his most important love. He has a 3 yr old son which is his pride and joy.
Adam currently builds homes in River Birch Place in Lumberton & Fairfield subdivision in Beaumont.
